AT A GLANCE
Use your effective cash-per-second rate, current balance, target price, and planned online minutes. The calculator returns hourly earnings, session earnings, the cash still needed, and additional saving time. An affordable target needs zero extra time; a positive cash shortfall with zero income has no finite saving time.
Calculate Online Earnings and Saving Time
- Enter your current total cash per second in Effective income.
- Enter the cash available for the purchase in Current cash.
- Enter the purchase's displayed cash price in Target purchase price.
- Set Online duration to the number of minutes you want to project.
Hourly earnings and Earnings over your duration show newly earned cash, excluding your starting balance. Cash still needed subtracts your balance from the target price, stopping at zero. Additional online saving time estimates how many more minutes of income you need to cover that gap; the duration input does not limit that estimate.
If you already have enough cash, the remaining saving time is zero—even at zero income. If you still need cash and earn nothing per second, waiting at that rate will not make the purchase affordable.
Use Your Effective Cash Rate
Read the total income display beneath your cash balance at the top of the screen. Enter the full number: 3.2K/s means 3,200 cash per second. Use the account total rather than an individual pet's income label.
That effective rate already includes active bonuses. Do not multiply it by Money or Index bonuses again. Keep your pet setup and bonuses unchanged for the projection; after a change, enter the new displayed rate and your updated balance. Abbreviated readings such as 3.2K/s give approximate projections.
Extra spending and one-time rewards are separate from steady income. If you buy something else or claim a cash reward, update your balance before estimating the remaining wait. Use these results for time spent online, not offline or Away earnings.
For ways to raise your ongoing income, see the pedestal and income guide. To work out how long an income upgrade takes to earn back its cost, use the income upgrade payback calculator.
Example: Saving 400,000 Cash
Suppose you enter 3,200 cash/s, a zero balance, a 400,000-cash target, and 60 online minutes. The target matches the Diamond Die's cash price in the Dice Shop.
| Result | Calculated value |
|---|---|
| Hourly earnings | 11,520,000 cash/hour |
| Earnings over 60 minutes | 11,520,000 cash |
| Cash still needed | 400,000 cash |
| Additional online saving time | About 2.08 minutes, or 125 seconds |
At that unchanged rate, you would reach the target in 2 minutes and 5 seconds. This is a calculation from the example inputs. The hourly figure is what a full hour earns; you only need to earn the 400,000-cash shortfall to afford this purchase.
Use your own balance and current rate for your estimate. If you're choosing a target, compare the Dice Shop options before entering its price.
